What does the trailer show? There is still no gameplay in the latest trailer for Dragon Age Dreadwolf. In return, he makes fans of the series very happy with other insights.

The trailer shows three areas of the continent of Thedas, which makes up a large part of the world of Dragon Age:

  • The nation of Antiva, with the port city of Treviso
  • The Rivain peninsula
  • The Kingdom of Anderfels, with the headquarters at Weisshaupt
  • These are not only shown on the world map of Thedas, but the trailer also gives a first insight into the design of these areas. So it stands to reason that the journey in the fourth part of Dragon Age will at least lead to these three places.

The graphic impressions of the areas are each accompanied by a few spoken words.

For example, that Antiva is ruled by the crows, they fight for everyone and always will. Or that the Gray Wardens from Weisshaupt won’t hide in their castle.

So there could be a big challenge in Dragon Age 4 that has many groups fighting against each other or side by side.

At the end of the trailer there is a rather ominous-sounding announcement. This means that the entire world will soon be at peace under the rule of an unknown person.

However, it is unclear who exactly made this announcement. If it comes from the “Dreadwolf” itself, this would mean a new voice actor for the character from the previous part. Since there is no more precise information about this yet, we can only speculate.

What are the reactions? Although there isn’t much to see in the trailer itself, the reactions in the comments (via YouTube) are incredibly positive and enthusiastic. Fans in particular are happy about the few little pieces of information and glimpses that the trailer brought with it:

  • CerealCommander writes: “I am so excited to travel to the countries before […] were only mentioned”
  • KillerPampelMuse89 writes: “I hope we get to see more of Anderfels, I always wanted to know what the wandering hills look like. The areas shown look good so far”
  • Ghost19_ writes: “Really, really glad to see the Gray Wardens still playing a big role. […] hopefully this part delves deeper into their lore.”
  • stormcloak1822 writes: “Well, sounds like the dire wolf isn’t our only problem.”
  • What do you think of the new trailer and the first images of the new areas? Feel free to write your opinion in the comments.
