Westworld is still one of HBO’s most ambitious series. After last the Sci-Fi adventure orientation reworked (away from the park, towards the real world), the 4th season is now announced with a new trailer. It comes up with epic pictures and tons of stars.
Although Westworld impresses with futuristic show values, the series does not only rely on the visual possibilities of the genre. The casting has been since the first season extremely impressive. Recently, the newly crowned Oscar winner Ariana Debose from West Side Story has even joined the excellent ensemble.

In addition, we can look forward to the return of Evan Rachel Wood and James Marsden in Season 4. After a brief moment it seemed like we’d never see the original leads in Westworld again, it was recently revealed that they return in new roles will.
Also included are familiar faces like Thandiwe Newton, Tessa Thompson, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Luke Hemsworth and Angela Sarafyan. Also the biggest newcomer of the last round is back at the start: Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul gets lost again in the conflict between humans and machines. Additionally, Aurora Perrineau and Daniel Wu are entering Westworld for the first time.

Westworld Season 4 premieres June 26, 2022 in the United States. New episodes will be released weekly on HBO. In Germany we don’t have to wait much longer: just one day after the US broadcast, Sky is showing the new episodes. From the June 27, 2022 the 4th season of Westworld is therefore also available on the streaming service Wow (formerly Sky Ticket).
