The ticks usually go to hibernation during the winter, but this year it has been so mild that the ticks stayed awake. In southern Sweden, five times more ticks were found as early as January compared to the same time last year.
Does this mean that we have to watch out for ticks all year round? How should we think about vaccines? And is it possible to protect yourself from the most dangerous diseases?
