“The thunder is mainly out to sea and it is uncertain to what extent the thunder touches land,” writes SMHI, which has issued a yellow warning.
The thunder can cause disturbances and cause fires
The storm can, among other things, entail the risk of disruptions in the electricity supply and train traffic due to lightning strikes. There is also a risk of fires.
During Thursday, a strong thunderstorm moved in over northwestern Götaland and parts of western Svealand.

Several were struck by lightning on the soccer field
On Lidingö outside Stockholm, several young people were struck by lightning in connection with a football practice on Lidingö outside Stockholm. Three were said to be seriously injured on Thursday.
The thunderstorm that is on its way could affect Stockholm and parts of Södermanland and Uppsala counties.
