New The Walking Dead series with Rick brings back 2 forgotten characters and finally solves a 4-year-old mystery

New The Walking Dead series with Rick brings back 2

Last year, the zombie series The Walking Dead ended after 11 seasons. However, the stories of numerous characters will be continued with new spin-off series. Negan and Maggie have already returned to Dead City. And the French spin-off Daryl Dixon gives fans a reunion with Norman Reedus’ loner and Carol.

Perhaps the most anticipated return, however, will come next year in the spin-off The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, which reunites the characters Rick Grimes and Michonne for an adventure. A new teaser now reveals: Two more characters make a surprise return.

Not only Rick and Michonne: The Walking Dead is bringing back even more characters

At least five familiar The Walking Dead faces will star in the new series The Ones Who Live. In addition to Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira), Pollyanna McIntosh can also be seen again as CRM soldier Jadis. They are joined by two forgotten characters: Aiden and Bailey.

Their names probably won’t mean much to most fans. After all, they have been so far in just one scene from the parent series seen: in the 13th episode of season 10.

In the episode Michonne’s Way, Michonne took an early leave from The Walking Dead to search for Rick. In her final scene she scored two injured strangers who became separated from their group and asked for help.

As the latest teaser for The Ones Who Live reveals, the duo will also appear in the spin-off series. Hopefully this time longer than just 30 seconds.

Her colleague Bailey is played by comedian Andrew Bachelor aka King Bach, who was seen, among other things, in the Netflix horror The Babysitter and its sequel The Babysitter: Killer Queen.

The Ones Who Live will follow on from the end of Michonne’s farewell episode as well as the epilogue of The Walking Dead finale. Thanks to the return of Aiden and Bailey, fans will get in on the spin-off series finally an answer after four years on the Question: Which mysterious caravan did Michonne join?
