New survival game on Steam takes place in feudal Japan, offers co-op for 4 players, lets you found your own dynasty

Sengoku Dynasty has entered Early Access on Steam. The title is advertised as a mix of several genres. Medieval Japan serves as the setting, in which we have to build our own settlement in a region destroyed by war.

What is Sengoku Dynasty game?

  • Players build their own empire in an open world and try to survive in it
  • Using the crafting system, there are tools, weapons, meals and medicine to make
  • The village must be defended, from yaris to katanas, a variety of weapons are available
  • We can gamble either alone or with up to four players in cooperative multiplayer mode

    • First, players start with few resources and build up the first settlement. The needs of the population must be kept in mind. To provide them with food, players have to go hunting or farming, for example.

    With its game mechanics and the assigned genres, Sengoku Dynasty reminds many users of Medieval Dynasty.

    The community rating is balanced so far

    In the reviews, there are many players who already find Sengoku Dynasty better than Medieval Dynasty. This game is also a mix of survival game and life simulation, which has a whopping 90 percent on Steam.

    However, Sengoku Dynasty is far from this rating. The game currently lands at only 63% (via steam.com). The reason given by users is the early access status: there isn’t much content yet, the performance is below average and there are too many bugs.

    The fight shouldn’t feel completely smooth either. For example, there are no special actions such as defending against attacks. In addition, the characters are mute. According to the users, a synchronization must be submitted later so that the game becomes more immersive.
