The new survival MMO Nightingale has been announced for February and is planning a play test for early 2024 – last time 12,000 players took part. You can find out how you can register for the stress test on MeinMMO.
In the video you get an impression of the gameplay in Nightingale:
Participate in the play test on Steam with just one click
How can I register for the playtest? According to Inflexion Games, the playtest will take place in early 2024. You can now easily register on Steam via the Nightingale shop page. You can find the button there under the information about Early Access:
Once you have requested access and confirmed access again, it will say that you will receive an email notification when new participants are accepted. We can’t tell you how long this will take at the moment.
On the Nightingale website, the developers write that the “stress test” is independent of other tests: “If you have previously completed a playtest survey or received playtest keys, you will NOT receive access to the stress test.”
You must therefore register again for this test in any case. They also point out that participation is free and that you do not buy a copy of Nightingale.
The developers want to push the servers to their limits
What happens during the playtest? The developers are inviting all players to help “destroy” the network as they stress test the Nightingale servers in early 2024.
They also write there what they expect from the test:
There are no bad results with this test. Whether the connections run smoothly or the servers catch fire, the team will gain valuable information as they prepare for the Early Access launch in February.
We hope everyone can connect to the Realms and enjoy the first few hours of play without interruption. However, all or some participants may have longer connection times than usual or may not be able to connect at all.
Whatever happens, we will be with you all the time and communicate through the official Discord.

Under the post from the Nightingale account on X (formerly Twitter), a few users wrote yesterday that the website was not working. The Nightingale team responded: “Yes, the traffic seems to have killed the site.”
At the moment everything can be reopened without any problems. Others commented on the post with “Hype!” and “I can hardly wait! I’ve been looking forward to Nightingale for a number of years.”
Do you have Nightingale on your radar? Will you sign up for the playtest? Feel free to leave us a comment.
MeinMMO author Mark Sellner was able to watch around 30 minutes of live gameplay of the new survival MMO. A fight in the open world remains particularly positive in his memory. Two other highlights also caught his eye:
