Google regularly releases new features and updates that make Android phones more secure and useful.
The last major update was Android 15, which rolled out to Google Pixel models in October.
However, Samsung users are yet to receive the update. The reason is that the tech giant is still working on the Android 15-based One UI 7 software, which is expected to be ready and launched only in early 2025.

Google has secretly released a new function for Google Pixel mobiles. The Android models Oneplus, Oppo and Nothing are also expected to get it.
The feature in question is a new addition to the Android venture “Digital well-being”. It is a collection of functions that should help the user relax, focus or reduce their phone use.
An example of such a feature is Apptimers. It allows you to set daily limits on how long you should use a particular app. When you reach the limit, the app is paused and you stop receiving notifications from it for the rest of the day.

New feature in Android
Google now has, according to 9to5googleintroduced a new feature with a similar purpose. The new feature gives you random reminders at the top of the screen about how long you’ve been using an app. The aim seems to be to encourage the user not to get stuck in the same app for too long.
The function is switched off by default, but can be found in the mobile’s settings. There you can also choose which apps you want the function to be activated on.
According to 9to5google, the function has begun to be rolled out to all Android mobile phones.
