Dogs can actually cry for happiness, according to a new study by Japanese researchers.
The study compared the amount of tears the dogs produced in completely normal situations with their owner and when they were reunited with their master or mother after not being seen for around seven hours.
It was found that tear production increased significantly upon reuniting with the owner.
