Iran announced that the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in the capital Tehran was carried out with a short-range rocket carrying a 7-kilogram warhead.
SHOT OUTSIDE THE ROOM
The statement noted that the assassination was designed and carried out by Israel and that the US also supported the action, and said: “According to the investigations, this terrorist attack was carried out by firing a short-range rocket carrying a warhead of approximately 7 kilograms from outside the guests’ accommodation area.”
The statement said that Haniyeh’s “revenge will definitely be taken at the right time and place.”
