There is a new specialization in World of Warcraft: the Reinforcement Caller. The class brings a new twist to MMORPG WoW. It’s a hero who specializes in boosting fellow players. And that is already producing blatant blossoms. With a special tactic, “stacking the class”, the damage of a death knight in the raid was increased to 13 million DPS.
What is special about the new specialization?
22 summoners turn a death knight into a boss killer
This is what you saw in the raid: The Death Knight Specialist from the Wowhead side has now gone into a raid with 22 Reinforcement Callers, taking an Unholy Death Knight’s DPS to 13.4 million DPs
This allowed his group to shorten the fight against a heroic raid boss, which normally took about 2 minutes, to 24 seconds. The player says:
“Each Reinforcement Call scales multiplicatively as you pack in more Callers in the Chest phase.”
Here’s the kill in the Twitter clip:
Blizzard has apparently overlooked a problem in the balance
That’s behind it: Blizzard seems to have simply overlooked a problem in the balance here: Reinforcement callers scale too much with each other.
Certain summoner ability bonuses are all multiplicative. As PC Gamer explains, it all boils down to the Kazzzara the Hellforddes raidbos simply being melted away in the Alberurus raid.
Fastest kill so far lasted 1:44 minutes, new record at 24 seconds
How fast is that in comparison? The team’s 24-second kill is much quicker than the previous record kill of 1:44 minutes.
Most groups take about 2 minutes for the boss.
It is expected that Blizzard will bring a hotfix within a short time. This obviously cannot be Blizzard’s wish in this form and will certainly be fixed soon.
Anyone who knows 22 Rufer who are willing to spec might still have fun for a while.
