New series with 2 fan favorites is coming – and shows the origin of the naughtiest superhero orgy

Amazon’s superhero satire The Boys may end in two years with season 5. But that won’t be the last foray into the world of corrupt and naughty superheroes. As part of the San Diego Comic-Con, a surprise new The Boys series announcedwhich brings back two of the most popular supervillains.

The Boys: Vought Rising tells the backstory of Soldier Boy and Stormfront

The Boys: Vought Rising delves into the past of The Boys history and tells a blood-soaked story in the 1950s as a prequel series. There is a reunion with two fan favorites who already made appearances in the parent series.

But what is Vought Rising about? The Boys creator Eric Kripke describes the plot as follows:

It’s a murder mystery full of twists about the origins of Vought in the 1950s, the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical maneuvers of a Supe known to fans as Stormfront, who was then known as Clara Vought. We can’t wait to share with you this raunchy, gruesome, blood and Compound V-soaked saga to amaze and torment your souls.

In the main series, we have already learned some exciting background information about Stormfront and Soldier Boy, which can now be explored in Vought Rising in a drastic way typical for The Boys.

New The Boys series shows us the backstory of the Herogasm

While Soldier Boy became the first superhero in America and the flagship of the young company Vought, Stormfront has an even more terrifying story. In the post-war period, she was known as Superhero Liberty She keeps her true identity hidden from the public: she is the wife of Frederick Vought and a hardened Nazi bride.

With the setting of the 1950s, The Boys fans can not only look forward to an exciting look at the rise of the later pop culture machine Vought, but also the origin of the naughtiest superhero orgy. At that time, Soldier Boy and Liberty founded the annual Herogasm.

We will definitely see the very first Herosgasm in the new The Boys series, as Eric Kripe confirmed in an interview with TVLine: “We would be crazy not to do this.“

When do The Boys Season 5 and Vought Rising start on Amazon?

The grand finale of the original series will hit Amazon Prime Video in 2026. When the prequel series will be released and how many episodes it will include is not yet known. The project is currently in the script phase.

With a little luck, Vought Rising could be released on Amazon as early as 2026 – either before or after season 5. Together with the finale of The Boys, you can soon look forward to a double dose of Soldier Boy.

However, we don’t have to wait that long for The Boys restock. Because first the second season of the spin-off series Gen V starts. It will be released on Prime Video in 2025.
