True crime stories do not always have to have something to do with life and death. In some cases, it is also enough to uncover completely brazen fraud stitches that let your blood cook in your veins. This is exactly what happens in German-Danish co-production, the Cum-EX affair in eight entertaining consequences.
In February the series celebrated its premiere at the Berlinale. However, only the first four episodes could be seen there. Now you can also enjoy the series without a festival stress and in full length. Even before the Free TV premiere on linear television, all eight episodes of the Cum-Ex affair appeared in the ZDF media library.
What exactly is it about the Cum-Ex affair?
The Cum-Ex affair was created by screenwriter Jan Schomburg, who most recently made a name for himself as co-author of Maria Schrader’s celebrated direction before the dawn and I am your person a name. These films told people with very fragile feelings. The opposite is the case with the Cum-Ex affair.
