Instead of exciting rescue attempts by NASA astronauts, Goodbye Earth focuses primarily on human fate and the state of chaos into which society collapses when it becomes known that An asteroid called Dina will hit Earth in a few months becomes. The trailer also promises plenty of visually stunning action.
At the beginning of the series there are still 200 days until the impact. The epicenter of the disaster will be the Korean Peninsula. And so Goodbye Earth focuses on the conditions in the South Korean city of Woongcheon City, where panicked sects, violence and crime prevail. The last days of humanity now begin for different characters Fight for survival and to preserve one’s own humanity.

Goodbye Earth consists of a total 12 episodes. All episodes will be available to watch on Netflix when they start on April 26, 2024. Unfortunately there is no German dubbed version. Instead, you can watch the series in the Korean original with German subtitles.
The dystopian sci-fi series is based on the Japanese novel Shumatsu No Furu (or The Fool at the End of the World). The original was written by Kôtarô Isaka, whose works have already been made into numerous films. The action comedy Bullet Train with Brad Pitt is also based on one of his books.
The director of Goodbye Earth is also no stranger to Netflix fans. Jin-min Kim previously directed the South Korean thriller series My Name and Extracurricular, both of which you can stream on Netflix.
