Frida Karlsson ended the ski World Cup in the best way.
The Swede took home World Cup gold on the historic five-mile.
But now comes the setback for our blue-yellow World Cup hero.
Swedish ski star Frida Karlsson Come to the ski World Cup in Trondheim after a tough winter. She has been affected by a foot injury throughout the ski season and also had a tough time to reach its highest level during the first three World Cup races.

Then came the complete discharge in the very last World Cup race, the first five miles of the times in a championship on the women’s side. But it was not even certain that Frida would even start on Sunday.

She fought herself through the pain and performed great deeds in Trondheim. Karlsson stood for an impressive performance and was first over the finish line to salvage a historic World Cup gold.
Action for Frida
There were two World Cup golds and a World Cup bronze for Frida Karlsson in Norway. But the question is whether we will see her in the ski tracks again this season.
“We’ll see if I get together after this or what we have for plan,” she told Swedish media on site in Trondheim and answered questions about it planning an operation.
– There has been talk about it but I do not really know at the moment.

On Tuesday, the new message for the Swedish World Cup gold hero came and it is a setback. Frida is forced to refuse the upcoming World Cup weekend, when the skiers will return to Norway for competitions in Oslo.
“Frida Karlsson relinquishes Oslo to recover to the World Cup final in Lahti,” says national team manager Anders Byström in a press release.
Also the national team colleague Calle Halfvarssonwho became ill during the ski World Cup also misses the World Cup competitions in Oslo.
