Russia exposed the Ukrainian capital Kiev to a large-scale drone attack during the night of Thursday, according to the city’s military leadership.
The night’s attacks were described as “massive” by Serhiy Popko, the head of the military administration in Kiev. All the attack drones were shot down during the attack, which lasted over three hours, according to him.
“The enemy continues to use attack tactics in multiple waves, with intervals between groups of attacking drones,” Popko writes in a statement on Telegram.
He states that it was the twelfth air attack on Kiev since the beginning of May, after a four-day break.
The air raid warning also sounded in several Ukrainian cities during the night, including in Kharkiv.
