A sub-unit of the Korean People’s Army reportedly fired four “Hwasal-2” cruise missiles in the area of Kim Chaek City in northeastern North Korea. The robots were launched towards the sea on the east coast.
According to BBC the country also conducted a weapons test four days ago. Then an intercontinental ballistic missile was launched.
The tests come as the United States and South Korea announced they will conduct joint exercises next month, designed to help fend off North Korea’s growing nuclear threat.
