The strategy game Dune Spice Wars, which attracted great attention in its early access, is getting a multiplayer mode with the upcoming update.
We made our first look at the production in our Dune Spice Wars review article on April 27, 2022. Today, the roadmap of our game, which is followed by strategy lovers, has been published. Dune, which has been in early access for about a month, will first launch the multiplayer mode, according to the project plan created by the company following the feedback from the players. Afterwards, a 5th side, unknown to anyone, will join the war. We’ll see both of these this summer.
New troops hit the road in Dune Spice Wars
Spaceports, spaceships, and advanced units will join the game at a later date. Early access players will know, the units they had were very limited and did not offer great depth in terms of combat. With these new additions, new tactical options will also be added to the battle.
If you remember in the old Dune games (Dune 2 – Dune 2000 – Emperor: Battle for Dune), each warring side had special units. Although these were not included in the book or the main story, they added variety to the games.
Dune’s heroes will also be added to the game in the future and will take place as powerful playable units. If they add the characters from the novels to the game, it is possible that we will see characters such as Duncan Idaho and Gurney Halleck in the game.
