Shohei Ohtani’s historic home ball in baseball’s top league, MLB, has sold for a record price.
Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani On September 19, he hit a historic feat in baseball’s top league in MLB, hitting three homers in a 20–4 victory over the Miami Marlins.
With his top game, the 30-year-old Japanese became the first player in MLB history to have more than 50 homers and 50 successful home runs in one season.
In MLB’s more than 150-year history, none of the more than 23,000 players have accomplished that feat.
Now the ball of the historic municipal strike has sold at auction for a record $4.392 millioni.e. with 4.07 million euros.
At the same time, the municipal ball hit by Ohtani becomes the most expensive ball in history, taking all sports into account.
The previous record paid for baseball was $3.05 million, which was broken By Mark McGwire for his historic 70th home run in 1998.
However, it is not yet known who was the first to get hold of the valuable celebratory ball in the stands, and thus who will end up with the giant money in the end. The matter will be resolved only after the trials.
