Sony’s new PvP shooter starts its beta tomorrow on the PS5. It remains to be seen whether it will be convincing after the game had already received a lot of criticism beforehand.
What game is this about? Concord is Sony’s latest PvP shooter that aims to impress you with 5v5 battles. As part of the State of Play, Sony showed the first gameplay of the shooter, which caused some ridicule, especially for the character designs.
In Concord you have several characters with individual skills. Battles are fought in teams of 5 players against another team and are played in the first-person perspective.

When does the beta start? In an official post on the Playstation blog, information about the launch of the beta version has now been announced.
According to official information, the early access beta will run from tomorrow, July 12th, to July 14th, 2024. The open beta will then run from July 18th to July 21st, 2024. PS5 players can pre-download the beta version starting today, July 11th, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. Anyone with an active PS Plus subscription will have access to the open beta.
You can take your friends with you into the beta
If you have already pre-ordered Concord, you will automatically receive access to the beta early access version. You will also receive four extra codes that you can pass on to your friends so that they can test the beta together. However, your friends must be playing on the same platform as you.
