With the hoverboard into the clouds

What sets Echo Point Nova apart? The shooter is characterized by its fast and flexible movement, which is enhanced by a hoverboard, a double jump and a grappling hook. For example, you can use the grappling hook to move between floating platforms and clouds or surf any wall imaginable with the hoverboard.

Once you have internalized the gadgets and are using the full range of the movement, you will be in constant motion and build up momentum little by little. Over time, various perks are added, with which you can, for example, throw enemies away when they land or slow down time for a few seconds.

Of course, you can also choose from a range of weapons. There are, among other things, fully automatic assault rifles; shotguns; Weapons that fire in volleys, revolvers and sniper rifles. You decide which weapon you want.

What do the first reviews say? The reviews are really very positive. The players especially rave about the movement and really enjoy the gameplay. One user even wrote a positive review praising the Echo Point Nova even though he returned the shooter. He acknowledged that it was a good game, even if he personally didn’t like it.

  • “It’s strange to recommend a game that I personally didn’t enjoy, but I can see the enjoyment behind my lack of ability to keep up with the game. My problem is that I have terrible difficulty aiming while moving at high speeds. […] I blame it on getting older […].” – Steam
  • “I finished it and oh man, this is definitely my game of the year now. It’s such an exciting gaming experience that’s fun without neglecting the challenge.” – via Steam
  • “Probably one of the best FPS experiences I’ve had in recent years! The movement is fluid and satisfying.” – via Steam
  • “Echo Point Nova is truly a pure joy, as if the developers have simply packed everything that is fun into a single package.” – via Steam
  • One of the main points of criticism is the price. Echo Point Nova costs €24.50 on Steam, which is quite expensive for a comparatively unknown indie game – especially since it doesn’t offer a particularly large selection of content.
