Fuel prices in Swedish sandwiches have soared in recent weeks, as unrest in the Middle East has pushed up the price of crude oil globally.
Now the time has come for another adjustment of the prices of petrol and diesel.
Substantial increase yesterday
Just yesterday, the recommended prices at staffed stations were raised significantly.
A liter of petrol became 25 öre more expensive, reaching the highest level since September 3.
Diesel became 30 öre more expensive per liter, which meant that the price per liter of the fuel was raised by over 1 kroner in just one month.

So will the prices of petrol and diesel
But after yesterday’s rise, prices are now turning down again.
The major fuel chains are reducing the price of diesel by 30 öre per liter on Wednesday, while petrol will be 20 öre cheaper per litre.
A liter of diesel now costs SEK 17.44 at manned stations, while a liter of petrol now costs SEK 17.24.
The downward adjustment is about the same size as yesterday’s increase in prices.
