Jonna Adlerteg continues to impress greatly in the Master of Masters.
First she defeated Nils van der Poel in a mighty duel of hunter rest.
Now she has struck with a new display and broken all-time records.
The acclaimed SVT program “Master of Masters” is in the middle of a new season and the one everyone is talking about is the gymnast Jonna Adlerteg. Recently, she broke up with the skating hero Nils van der Poel in a raging duel of the classic hunter’s rest.
New display
Adlerteg completely cracked van der Poel and also looked fairly unfazed by the effort. Now the Swede has struck again with a new, powerful display in the television program.

It’s time for the “grip strength” competition, where the participants must hang straight from a pole above the water and hold on with their hands for as long as possible. Then the presenter tells Mike Leijnegard that the all-time record in the Champions of Champions is four minutes and ten seconds.

Jonna’s record
Adlerteg, who hadn’t even thought that you could break a record in the program and therefore didn’t sit any longer during the hunting break, now saw his great chance to write history.
– I didn’t think about it until I got to the other participants and they said: “You should have stayed and tried to beat the record”. I replied: “Huh!?”, she tells SVT Sport.
– Then I had opened my eyes to the fact that there were records that could be broken. Then I decided to hang on as long as I could.

Then Jonna Adlerteg steps out and completely sweeps the course with all the other men in the competition, see the video below.

– You have beaten it, the record has been broken. Woho!, the host then happily announces.

Adlerteg is celebrated
Sovereign Adlerteg is the pride itself when she finally lets go of her grip and falls to the water. Well aware that she has just broken the all-time record in the TV show.
– It feels great to have a new record. This was really my branch, so I’m very happy that I managed to stay there, she says in the broadcast.
– We were beaten there, guys. Haha, yes, you can safely say that!, states her competitors with a laugh.
