New plan for homes on the Hessing site in De Bilt, but what will happen to it?

Door ajar for housing on the Hessingterrein in De Bilt
The municipal council previously rejected plans by developer Verwelius because the construction of around 130 homes would be too much at the expense of nature. In the appeal by developer Verwelius, the Council of State ruled that “a number of findings by environmental organizations contradict on points” with findings from research reports. The Council of State stated that De Bilt had to clarify ambiguities. But even if the municipality still agrees, the way is not clear for housing construction on the Hessing site, because the province is also against it.
