Last Sunday a skull was found and then clothes.

Last week another piece of bone was found.

Now French police confirm that it also belonged to the French Emile who disappeared in July.

Last Sunday there was a breakthrough regarding the disappearance of the two-year-old boy Emile Soleil in France.

After the boy was missing for nine months, his skull was found by a hiker, just one kilometer from the village he disappeared from.

A few days later, the police also found the t-shirt, shoes and shorts that Emile was wearing on the day he disappeared.

New piece of bone found

Now new findings have been made.

This time it is about a piece of bone that was discovered during a search operation on Wednesday. According to the analysis results that came on Monday, it was possible to determine that the piece of bone comes from little Emile, reports the French news site BMF.

It is not yet known exactly what kind of bone it is that has been found and it is still unclear what happened to the boy.

The analysis of the skull has shown “minor fractures” and “bite marks”, but according to the prosecutor they could be caused by wild animals.

The investigation has also been complicated by the fact that the hiker who found the skull picked it up himself and took it to the police.

– We would have preferred that she didn’t touch anything at all, the police said Le Figaro.

Last seen on the village’s only road

It was last July that the boy was visiting his grandparents in the small mountain village of Haut-Vernet in southeastern France and then disappeared.

Only 25 people live in the village and there are various witness statements from villagers, who also contradict each other, writes BMF.

There are two witnesses who claim to have seen the boy at 5.15 pm alone on the village’s only road. That must be the last time anyone saw Emile Soleil.

Rumors about the maternal grandfather

During the search for Emile, several French media have written about his grandfather.

In March, among others, the newspapers reported Le Parisien and Le Canard enchaîné that the grandfather, named Philippe Vedovini, has appeared in a police investigation into violence and sexual abuse of children at a school belonging to a Catholic community in northern France.

During this time he is said to have been on his way to becoming a Monk and at the school where he worked he was called Brother Philippe.

But instead of becoming a monk, he married and had ten children, one of whom is the mother of Emile Soleil.

Last fall, he spoke out about the rumours, which arose shortly after the grandson’s disappearance.

– Of course I come across as dominant and someone who terrorises everyone. All this is false, I don’t care, he then told the Christian newspaper Famille Chrétienne.
