It took until 2018 before Daredevil finally became a celebrated, dark Marvel hero. The Netflix series Marvel’s Daredevil left the first, largely unsuccessful, 2003 film with Ben Affleck in the lead role behind and scored as an independent comic adaptation that was much closer to the original.
After Netflix’s exit, Daredevil is returning to Disney+ this year for a new series, for which set photos and videos from filming are constantly finding their way online. Current recordings show for the first time Villain Bullseye in a new costume as well as a revised suit for the protagonist.

Bethel first appeared in the Bullseye role in Season 3 of Marvel’s Daredevil. Here he was the second major villain in the Netflix series alongside Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin. The Bullseye costume in the Netflix version of Daredevil looked much simpler compared to the upgrade from the upcoming Disney+ series.

An exact start date for Daredevil: Born Again is not yet known. The Marvel series should sometime in 2025 come to Disney+.
