He has previously participated in several Koran burnings, including together with Salwan Momika at the Iranian embassy, the Stockholm mosque and most recently at Mynttorget on July 30 earlier this year.
Salwan Najem has been granted a permit for a public gathering on Mynttorget on August 14 between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., Mats Eriksson, spokesperson for the Stockholm Police, confirms to TT.
However, it is not clear from the permit issued by the police whether Salwan Najem will carry out a Koran burning at the public gathering or not.
