In Ivory Coast, several influential executives appear in this new organization chart, which also gives pride of place to young people. The mayor of Port-Bouët, Dr Sylvestre Emmou is the new executive secretary of the PDCI. He replaces Maurice Kakou Guikahué, who has held this position since 2013. Noël Akossi Bendjo inherits the strategic function of General Coordinator of the PDCI.
The former Minister of Industry, Alain Cocauthey, heads Tidjane Thiam’s cabinet.
A change of size: Tidjane Thiam reorganizes the party geographically, so that it is closer to the ground and especially to the party activists. Its goal: to encourage citizens to enlist massively for the 2025 presidential election. What is proposed is a new approach with a stronger emphasis on districts and regions. The (first) objective is to put the party in battle order for the 2025 election; the second is to have an organizational structure aligned with the administrative and electoral division of the country. The (final) objective is really to achieve massive enrollment! »
