(Finance) – Mark Zuckerberg has announced that it is now possible to send photos on Whatsapp in High Definition. “For the most special moments that you want to share with friends and family in every single detail, you will now have the possibility to share photos in high definition, always with the protection of end-to-end encryption of WhatsApp,” reads a note.
“To ensure that the sharing from the photo on WhatsApp remains fast and reliable, the quality standard it will remain the default option for sending photos. If you receive a photo in the presence of a poor network connection, you will be able to choose, photo by photo, whether to maintain the standard quality or switch to HD”, continues the press release. The option to share photos in HD will be released worldwide in the coming weeks and will soon be extended to video as well.
