Two main proposals have so far been on the table. One from the government supported by the V and MP, and one from the opposition parties M, SD, KD and L. Additional proposals, on the initiative of C have been presented as a kind of compromise.
Now the government has agreed with the Left Party and the Green Party to present a new broad proposal together with the Center Party on the pension group’s table.
– It will mean a real strengthening of the pension for those who need it best, says Minister of Social Insurance Ardalan Shekarabi at a press conference.
He does not want to go into details about the proposal but says that “the levels have been adjusted”.
