Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Statistics. Dr. Eren Baş, “Dendritic neuron model-based describable feedback deep artificial neural network with automatic prediction method” project, TUBITAK 1001-Scientific and Technological Research Projects support within the scope of the program, he said.
The head, said that the study started in 2022 a few months ago, “a new deep artificial neural network was developed. The new training algorithm for this nervous network, the new nervous network -based automatic prediction method and the use of automatic prediction method was unearthed.” he said.
Baş stated that they called the “Autodeepdent” to the software they continue to prepare for the patent application, “The software is a practical tool that can be used to obtain predictions in many fields in real life.” He gave his information.
The head underlined that there are such programs but the software they prepared gives better results and said:
“Within the scope of the project artificial intelligence We have developed a new method of prediction using artificial neural networks, one of the methods. The prediction method we have developed has a interface that can automatically predict both the stock market and meteorological data. The output of our project is a free desktop application that will automatically give predictions. “
Describing the software will provide significant convenience in many areas, Baş said, “Now, when users want to make predictions on any subject, they will automatically obtain these predictions. We have designed a matlab application.” He said.
Baş, pointing out that the application can be downloaded from the website they have prepared, “Users can perform predictive applications, there are such programs, but this new method we recommend, especially in the literature, can compete with the known artificial neural networks, even better results.” he said.
Prof. Dr. Chief, Department of Statistics Professor. Dr. He added that the article about the project they prepared with Erol Eğrioğlu was published in the pioneer and important magazine in the field of artificial intelligence. (AA)
