– Security guards and the police came to the scene, says the witness.

Car that is feared to have gone through the ice – was delusional
The emergency services were alerted at 12:16 p.m. after two independent witnesses raised the alarm about a car standing on the ice on a larger lake in Varberg.
– These witnesses then see how the car starts to go through the ice, says Thomas Andersson, officer on duty at the rescue service West.
A large search operation was looking for the missing car.
After some time, the rescue effort was called off and it was determined that it was an optical illusion.
The sunlight combined with ice reflections had probably played tricks on the sight of the ringers.
– The ice was so thin that it cannot be walked on.

Kristersson: Sweden not at war – but there is no peace
Ulf Kristrersson gives a speech at the annual defense conference People and Defense in Sälen.
– Sweden is not at war. But there is no peace either, he says.
He says that Sweden does not jump to conclusions or accuse anyone of sabotage without very strong reasons, but that we are not naive either.
– The security situation and the fact that strange things happen again and again in the Baltic Sea also lead us to believe that hostile intent cannot be ruled out.

Arlanda plane on its way to Gran Canaria was forced to land in Denmark – the co-pilot caught a cold
A plane on its way from Arlanda to Gran Canaria was forced to land in Billund, Denmark at 10.30am. The reason: The co-pilot felt a cold.
– It is better that we replace him in Billund than that he goes with us all the way to Gran Canaria, says the airline’s vice president Birthe Madsen at the airline Jettime.
In total, the travelers are delayed for around two hours and shortly the flight should have taken off from Denmark with a new co-pilot on board.
– When you get up to such a high altitude, you feel the symptoms more and then a simple cold can feel much worse for a crew member, says Birthe Madsen.
