It was reported that Israel hacked the tower frequencies of Rafik Hariri International Airport, the only airport in Lebanon, and threatened to shoot down an Iranian civilian plane.
Underlining that the Lebanese army is the only authority that approves military aircraft to use International Rafik Hariri Airport, the Lebanese official noted that the Israeli army hacked the airport’s tower frequencies and threatened to shoot the Iranian civilian plane if it landed.
The official stated that they then instructed the Iranian passenger plane to return before entering Lebanese airspace.
