There was both positive and negative news in MMORPGs this week. Above all, we would like to highlight the new MMORPG Starfall, the latest patch in FFXIV and the postponed test at Blue Protocol. But there was also news at WoW, Lost Ark and Co.

The excitement of the week: Blue Protocol indefinitely postpones its planned network test in Japan. The reason is problems on the server and network, which are said to be “severe”. When the test will take place is currently unknown (via Twitter).
Whether this will affect the planned release in spring 2023 in Japan is also uncertain.

A new MMORPG Podcast: Alexander Leitsch and Mark Sellner – two of the three MMORPG authors here on MeinMMO – have started a podcast together. In MMO News they talk every 14 days about the most important events in the MMORPG world and give their opinion on them. There are also occasional specials on individual games.
