The new MMORPG Tarisland has launched a competition for raiders. The developers are challenging you to show who is really the best and the rewards are impressive.
What kind of challenge is this? The new MMORPG Tarisland will be released on June 21st. It has been known for some time that the developers are working on a speed run system for hardcore players. This should be linked to titles, but also other rewards for the game.
Now the developers have released the system and announced what rewards there really are and what you have to do to get them.

What is there to win? There are decent prizes for the very best players. While most raids only reward titles and in-game items, the final boss, Blight Dragon, offers cash prizes for the best of the best. The Blight Dragon is the last and most difficult boss of the season and is likely to be a tough nut to crack.
The Blight Dragon gives the team that kills the boss the fastest during the event $500 as an Amazon gift card per person. That’s more than €450 and will certainly be an incentive for some. The teams in second and third place will receive $300 (approx. €280) and $100 (approx. €93) respectively, while the teams in fourth to tenth place will receive $20 (approx. €18) per person.
It is not yet clear whether the prizes will create an entire e-sports scene like in World of Warcraft. However, the developers have invited two WoW veterans, Scripe and Maximum, to the launch, who will play the game at release (via X.com).
The challenge is about killing the boss as quickly as possible on the highest difficulty level, not being the first to do so. However, whoever kills the boss first will receive the title of “Professional Player”. According to the website, the challenge runs until July 31st and starts with the Merfolk King boss on July 10th, 2024.
How does the challenge work? In order to be able to take part, all players must first register on the developer’s website. Your login details must be the same as those you will use to log into the game. At this point, all players will receive rewards in the form of a competition, regardless of whether they have actually completed a raid or not.
Once you’re logged in, you still have to complete the Merfolk King, Ancient Tree, Synthesis Doctor, Forest Gemini, Archdruid raids in-game or, for the cash prize, the final boss of the season, Blight Dragon. Please note that you have to defeat the bosses on the highest difficulty level, i.e. Challenge Mode and in Elite.
So the challenge is not easy and only a few can win the big rewards.
