The Adventurer’s Domain Online, TADO for short, is a new MMORPG on Steam. It is being developed by indie studio Unbalanced Equations.

On January 26, 2023, TADO started Early Access on Steam. Almost all previous reviews there have been positive – a total of 87%. Many players point out the visual similarity to RuneScape, at least to its version when it was released in 2001.

An adventure with lots of stress-free content

What kind of game is this? TADO is an indie MMORPG with a third-person perspective. It wants to mix classic aspects of an MMO with those of an action-combat RPG. The developers emphasize that it is not intended to be a high-quality MMORPG, but rather aimed at players who want to have a relaxing time.

The game relies on a classless system in which you can spend your experience points as you wish. Either you use it to level up your character or use the points for your skills. For example, you specialize the great sword at the same time as the occult and become a mixture of warrior and mage.

TADO offers different PvE content such as dungeons for single players or groups, but PvP is also possible. However, this is optional and should only take place at certain events.

    Who is it worth it for? Anyone who values ​​sophisticated, very detailed graphics is absolutely wrong with TADO. The MMORPG is aimed at players who want to enjoy a relaxed adventure with a nostalgic flair.

    If you are looking for alternatives to the big MMORPGs like Lost Ark, New World and WoW or just want to test something new, you can give TADO a chance.
