New milestone for Ludvig Åberg – becoming the fifth Swede of all time to succeed

Ludvig Åberg climbs to tenth place in the world ranking and at the same time joins an exclusive group of blue-and-yellow men’s golfers. The 24-year-old from Skåne is the fifth Swede of all time to make it into the top 10 of the ranking.

Ludvig Åberg has rocketed since turning pro last summer and finished Sunday 25th in the PGA Tour event at Bay Hill. It was enough to jump up another step in the ranking, from eleven to ten.

The special winner of the weekend Scottie Scheffler also tops the world ranking by far, ahead of second place Rory McIlroy.

Jesper Parnevik, Robert Karlsson, Henrik Stenson and Alex Norén are the Swedes who have previously been top 10 in the world. Stenson’s highest ranking was when he was world number two in 2014.
