Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Season 2 is well underway and has brought some changes to the weapon meta. The adjustments were rather cautious, nerfs and buffs only had a small impact. But the LMG Sakin MG38 still sneaks past the formerly overpowering RPK.
The weapon adjustments of Season 2 of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 can be described as “moderate”. Popular meta-weapons have received minor nerfs, with a buff here and there pushing other weapons closer to the top ranks.
So at the start of Season 2 you can use your tried and tested weapons of the past few weeks with peace of mind – keywords RPK and Fennec.
However, you may then miss a new star in the meta sky. The LMG Sakin MG38 has been a meta contender for a long time, and by weakening the most powerful weapons, the LMG is now climbing to the top. Here you will find a strong setup for the Sakin MG38.

CoD Warzone 2: Sakin MG38 Setup – Well playable, strong damage
With the Sakin MG38 you get a typical LMG for use at long distances. This means: Large magazines with a lot of firepower meet mediocre movement and long reload times.
The Sakin is easy to control and you can land hits at great distances. In addition, you get more damage than the previous range high-flyer RPK.
Focus on more recoil control when tuning or get a little more out of the ZV speed. According to the patch notes for Season 2, tuning should play an even greater role in the future and significantly influence the values - try it out a little.
Combines the Sakin with a fast submachine gun for close combat. Only use the LMG for medium or long ranges, otherwise you will quickly be at a disadvantage.
Pack the Fennec or the MP5 (Lachmann MP5) – then you’ll be prepared for anything that comes your way on Ashika Island or Al Mazrah.
