On Tuesday morning, Russia attacked the Ukrainian capital Kiev with robots. This is stated by the city’s military administration on Telegram – and writes that attempts to ward off the attack are ongoing.

“Kiev residents – stay in the shelters. Many robots are heading in your direction,” writes the Air Force of Ukraine on Telegram.

According to AFP journalists on the ground in Kiev, the Ukrainian capital was shaken by more than ten powerful explosions during Tuesday morning.

At least ten people have been injured in the attack, Kyiv mayor Vitaly Klytchko said on Telegram, writes The Guardian.

The attack came just hours after a Russian drone attack on the city.

On Monday, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the country will step up its attacks on Ukraine after the weekend attack on the Russian city of Belgorod.

Putin’s warning came during a visit to a military hospital, where he said Russia would continue to strike what he described as military targets.

– We are doing it today and tomorrow and we will continue to do it, Putin said.
