Apparently, Black Bolt isn’t the only criticism Vellani has made in the exchange with Feige.

Every time I’m with Kevin [Feige] talk, we have a discussion. I say ‘The MCU isn’t [Universum] 616.’ To which he replies, ‘Yes it is, because I say so.’ I say, ‘No, it’s 199999.’ he hates it Although we discussed it, he has 616 in [Doctor Strange 2] packed. I was just like, ‘Kevin, you know it’s not 616.’ He replied with a sad emoji. I’m like, ‘Great.’

It’s refreshing to see an MCU star speak so openly about the franchise. Vellani also carries this energy into the series. Ms. Marvel has been running since June 8, 2022 on Disney+.
