Among the most anticipated titles are two new “Avengers” films, as well as a sequel to “Black Panther”. It reports among others AFP.
Marvel has dominated the global cinema market in recent years. Especially “Avengers: Endgame” from 2019, which for a short period was the world’s highest-grossing film (approximately 2.79 billion dollars – roughly 28.6 billion kroner).
Marvel Studios director Kevin Feige announced that “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty” and “Avengers: Secret Wars” will hit theaters in 2025.
Ryan Coogler who directed “Black Panther” returns for the sequel “Black Panther: Wakanda forever”. The film will not replace the late Chadwick Boseman in the lead role. Instead, new characters were presented, played by Michaela Coel (“I may destroy you”) and Tenoch Huerta.
Brothers Joe and Anthony Russo who directed “Endgame”, however, will not return for the new “Avengers” films.
Other titles presented included “Thunderbolts” and “Fantastic Four” which are scheduled to premiere in 2024.
