While FIS clients have been visiting the new location for the past month to pick up or drop off documents and attend pre-booked appointments, the new facility was officially opened on Tuesday, March 26.

“We are proud to officially recognize the hard work of our facilities team in retrofitting the lower level of 225 Colborne Street to better serve our community’s needs,” said Brantford mayor Kevin Davis. “I also want to take this opportunity to commend the city’s dedicated Family and Income Stability staff who administer the Ontario Works program locally.

“Their unwavering commitment to providing essential support to individuals and families in need is a testament to the compassion and professionalism that define our city. Through their efforts, lives are changed, futures are built, and individuals are empowered to overcome challenges.”
