The residents on the Zonor avenues (Zambesi, Ossewagen, Natal and Oranjerivierdreef) will be relieved. They were angry about the demolition of social housing. The new school would be located on the site of an old primary school on Grote Trekdreef. Without the demolition of the houses, the new building would not be suitable.
