The fifth-generation Lexus RX, which took its place on the lists as of March, will be offered in three options, all on hybrid infrastructure.
Lexus, which has entered an important transformation process in itself, as in almost every brand in the automotive world, continues on its way by seriously revising its most ambitious design issue. The fifth generation RX, which was introduced globally in 2022, which we left behind, has given clear messages of this since the first day it was launched. The 2023 model Lexus RX family, which entered the Turkish lists as of March after the lapse of time, promises a clearly differentiated driving experience at this point with three different engine types. The product range in the E SUV premium segment is preferred with three different hybrid options: RX 350h full hybrid, RX 450h+ plug-in hybrid and RX 500h performance hybrid.

Technical specifications of the Lexus RX range
The entry level of the RX family, which has a product range that can meet different expectations, starts with the RX 350h, which is shaped in the focus of efficiency. The 2.5-liter engine, based on the fourth generation self-charging hybrid system, makes it possible to complete 0-100 km/h acceleration in 7.9 seconds with 250 horsepower.
The second option of the RX product range was the RX 450h+, which brought the plug-in feature to the model. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine is combined with an 18.1 rechargeable lithium-ion battery. In addition, the Lexus E-Four has all-wheel drive with a rear electric motor. The RX 450h+ plug-in hybrid also stands out with its impressive efficiency and high performance. The RX 450h+ plug-in hybrid stands out with its 24 g/km CO2 emissions, 1.1 lt/100 km fuel consumption and an average electric range of up to 69 km. The 309 HP power of the hybrid engine enables the RX to reach 0-100 km/h in 6.5 seconds, making the performance quite ambitious. It can also go up to 130 km/h with full electric driving. The RX 450h+ is equipped with a 6.6 kW/h charger and with a 230 V/32 A connection, the entire battery can be charged in approximately 2.5 hours. In addition, in the RX 450h+, the driver can select the battery saver mode, allowing the gasoline engine to charge the battery of the hybrid system, such as a generator, to 80 percent.
At the top of the family is the RX 500h. Highlighting the efficiency of hybrid vehicles here, Lexus promises a special combination with the RX 500h to users seeking high-end performance. Using a new hybrid architecture, the vehicle combines a turbocharged 2.4-liter gasoline engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission, front electric motor, hybrid battery and 76 kW rear e-axle. Producing a total of 371 HP and 550 Nm of torque, the RX 500h completes 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 6.2 seconds. With its superior fuel economy, the RX 500h achieves a consumption value of 8.0-8.3 lt/100 km in WLTP combined measurements.
The RX 500h is the first RX to use Lexus’ new DIRECT4 intelligent electronic control system. DIRECT4 instantly and seamlessly distributes front and rear drive torque to all four wheels for optimum handling and stability. The rear wheels are driven by the rear eAxle with a separate electric motor and inverter. It offers a rewarding driving experience with better body control and more feel between the road and the steering wheel, while at the same time providing a highly comfortable ride.
