Ahead of tonight’s Bingolotto, problems have arisen – some lotteries have been misprinted.
– A limited edition that has not been printed properly so it cannot be scratched serial and lot number, says Fredrik Wingbro, press officer at Bingolotto.
According to Folkspel, which runs Bingolotto, there are a limited number of lottery tickets that have been defective in printing. Where serial and lot numbers should be visible on the lot, a layer of paint has not been applied properly. The paint has stuck too hard and cannot be sharpened off.
– What you have to scrape doesn’t go away, it just turns black under there in a limited number, says Fredrik Wingbro.
Bingolotto will investigate exactly how the error occurred together with its printing supplier, and apologies are now being made to those affected by the incorrectly printed tickets.
– The error in the lottery means that the holder does not have the opportunity to participate in the telephone session, which is an additional lottery for those who wish to participate against payment of the current telephone tariff, says Wingbro and adds:
– It is important to convey that no one who has encountered the aforementioned will be without the profit that a filled bingo row means.
During Bingolotto’s evening on December 23 there were problems with the digital systems, it is believed that this will not be repeated on New Year’s Eve
– If you compare the sit-down evening with New Year’s, there are two completely different pressures. You can never say never, but there is good confidence that it will not be repeated tonight, says Wingbro.
