New Indiana Jones game recommends a processor that doesnt exist

Bethesda has just revealed the recommended configurations for playing the new game “Indiana Jones and the Elder Circle” on PC. Problem is, these list components that do not exist.

The new game “Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle” is still scheduled for next Monday, December 9 on new generation consoles and PC. A few days before the official launch of Indy’s new adventures, the publisher Bethesda unveils on its official social networks the recommended configurations to be able to enjoy of the game in good conditions on PC.

Without too many surprises, the configurations mentioned for playing “Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle” are quite muscular. The game, which has graphics that seem very successful, will require players to have fairly robust components to be able to run effectively on a computer. But the biggest surprise comes from the recommended configurations to run the game in “Ultra” quality since it lists components… Which don’t exist.

Two processors that were never created

Bethesda’s recommended configuration for running “Indiana Jones and the Elder Circle” with Ultra graphics recommends two different types of processors: an Intel Core i7-13900K or an AMD Ryzen 7 7900X. Two processors supposedly quite powerful since they belong respectively to the thirteenth generation of Inter Core i7 processors and that launched in 2023 on the Ryzen 7 side.

So pure invention of Bethesda or error in the text? We would rather go for the second option. It would not be surprising if the publisher confused which processors to list. The Intel model could thus be the Intel Core i9-13900K which does indeed exist. The recommended configuration would then have unfortunately replaced “i9” with “i7”. Contacted by several journalists, the publisher Bethesda has not yet reacted to the situation.
