New hotfix takes care of crashes and includes stealth change in hunter

Patch 1.03 was a big update in Diablo 4 at the beginning of the week. Now the small hotfix 1.0.3a has been released, which takes care of crashes and a faulty success. But apparently the hotfix also hides a change in a hunter’s ability.

What has been changed? According to the Wccftech page, the following has been adjusted:

  • Fixed several bugs that caused the game client to crash.
  • In addition, the achievement Epic Adventurer was taken care of, which now unlocks correctly.
  • According to the official website, the hotfix only applies to the PC version of the game and not to the console version.

Blizzard’s Community Development Director Adam Fletcher wrote the following about the hotfix on Twitter:

  • A small PC client patch for Diablo 4 is available. It addresses various crash reports that we’ve been seeing since 1.0.3. The team will continue to monitor user crash reports.
  • The timing of various hotfixes and patches has been really good for Diablo 4 so far. Even if many changes do not please the players:

Hidden in the hotfix is a change to the hunter

Has anything else changed? As reported by the Wowhead site, a Hunter ability that is not mentioned in the patch notes has also been adjusted.

  • Deathtrap’s lucky hit rate has increased from 4% to 8% with the hotfix.
  • This is a small change for a hunter’s ability. Patch 1.0.3 earlier this week brought a lot of buffs and changes for all classes and their builds. You can find the full patch notes for it here:
