The arrival of a possible Lelystad Airport, low-flying aircraft, they know all about it and are strongly against it. At the moment, the new approach route to Schiphol, Rotterdam and, who knows, Lelystad Airport in the future is under scrutiny. “It is a kind of highway, where descending aircraft come over the province of Utrecht. It means that at least 120 aircraft come over every day at an altitude of less than two kilometers. Do you have to consider how much nuisance that will cause for a province that that is not used to now,” says Klaas.
