An international commission of experts has been appointed in connection with the terrorist attack at the Summer Olympics in Munich in 1972. This is stated by the German government on Friday.

The commission is the result of an agreement reached last year between the government and survivors of the eleven Israeli athletes who were killed. The attack was carried out by the Palestinian terrorist group Black September.

The Commission’s expert panel will examine the time before and after the attack, according to the German Minister of the Interior, Nancy Faeser, according to AP.
