With Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy, THQ Nordic and developer Frozenbyte are releasing the latest part of a cooperative platformer series. The game is already getting a lot of positive reviews on Steam.
What is it about? Trine 5 seems to tell a very classic fantasy hero story.
The game’s three heroes are a sorcerer, a thief and a knight, each of whom is facing a low point in their lives. A reputation shattered, magical powers at stake and love in jeopardy.
Despite these personal problems, the heroes must reunite to fight back the evil Clockwork Army, fight for justice and bring peace to the land.
The developers promise that this will be the most action-packed journey of the three heroes to date.
Trine 5 could definitely be worth a try, even if you usually stay away from platformers, because the previous ones were great.

Where can you play? You can play Trine 5 on Steam since August 31, 2023. However, it is also available for the Switch, PS4/5 and Xbox.
What is the game? As seen in the trailer, the game consists of many puzzles in a 2.5D world that must be solved in order to advance the story. Complete them in solo or co-op, with difficulty levels adaptive to the current player count. This should give the game some replay value.
